Job Description

Art Cadre is seeking a Personal assistant to work on supporting the head of an artist incubator program and the founder of Art Cadre Gallery, a platform dedicated to nurturing Nigerian talents. This position involves a dynamic mix of administrative, creative, and project management tasks, offering a unique opportunity to be closely involved in the art industry. This is a full time and hybrid role.

Responsibilities

Administrative support
  • Set Reminder for meetings, obligations, and important events.

  • Assist with planning and preparation for exhibitions.

  • Oversee exhibitions during their run, including making sales.

Social Media Management
  • Manage and create content for the gallery’s Instagram page to ensure consistent and engaging posts.

Art & Exhibition Management
  • Oversee the packaging and delivery of artworks.

  • Help manage inventory.

  • Liaise with artists and clients as directed by Founder.

  • Oversee the cataloging of client collections, working with a team.

Requirements


  • A university degree from a recognised institution.

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Familiarity with the art industry, especially within Nigeria, is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and social media management tools.

  • Creative thinking and a passion for the arts.
